Storytelling dates back to as far as man can remember, through out the centuries people have been kept informed and entertained by story felling. These stories can be factual or mythical, story telling has been used to keep control of the masses over the years and to put fear into the masses. storytelling first came orally and many stories evolved and changed from mouth to mouth. most stories have many variations.
Early forms of storytelling would have consisted of gestures and movements a swell as speech. as times moved on people would have started to act out there stories making them evolve into plays and there for adapt the story and the narrative to a staged events.
when man started to invent written language in the days of the cavemen, where they would uses drawings to tell stories on cave walls. symbols were being used by the ancient civilisations to record and tell stories of there existence and their lives.
The most widely know stories are biblical and are expressed to our children from a young age and they are usually used to teach morals and basic understanding of our current mass ideologies.
